PirateFest

April 10, 2010:  Greenville, North Carolina

This annual event will celebrate eastern North Carolina, its rich history steeped with famous pirates, including Blackbeard and Greenville's own Pirates of East Carolina University.  A large crowd is sure to gather to enjoy a weekend filled with a blend of both old and new festivities!

Blackbeard Pirate Festival

July 9th-11th, 2009:  Hampton, Virginia

Led by Blackbeard the Pirate himself, re-enactors help visitors step back in time and re-live the history and legends of 1718 Hampton. The Festival offers a variety of children’s activities, live musical entertainment, fireworks, period vendors, arts and crafts, and much more!

Beaufort Pyrate Invasion

August 13th-14th, 2010:  Beaufort, North Carolina

The ideal venue for a such an event, the Beaufort Pyrate Invasion is held every year on the Beaufort waterfront.  Cannon fire, pillaging, plundering, and of course, grog swilling, are but a few of the festivities.  Fun for the whole family!
